Myanmar: Garment workers at Gainway International factory reportedly intimidated & forced into working overtime; incl. co. responses

In May 2024, it was reported that workers at Gainway International are facing a series of violations, including workers being intimidated into working overtime including on Sundays, no breaks or food provided during overtime shifts, differences in the salaries workers receive, high temperatures in the factory without any air conditioning, and limited water provided for workers.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Etam, Carrefour, KIABI, Primark and H&M to respond. Responses can be found below.
