Myanmar: Haisheng Fashion workers allegedly told to hide labour violations, incl. excessive overtime; incl. co. response

In August 2024, it was reported that workers at Myanmar Haisheng Fashion Clothes are facing a series of violations, including excessive overtime until dawn, which is hidden when inspections happen, workers told to lie when inspections take place, and the Workplace Coordination Committee being formed by the employer.

In December 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited AlpenGroup (for Tigora), Macron, Teddy Group (for Terranova) and AEON (for Topvalu) to respond. Only AEON responded - the response can be found below.
