Residents around the Chinese-run Letpadaung copper mine in Myanmar are enduring regular attacks by junta troops, including shelling, raids, and extortion, with at least 31 civilians killed since the coup. Despite claims of halting operations post-coup, Wanbao Mining, a subsidiary of China's Norinco, reportedly continues operations, allowing troops to use its premises for attacks and shipping, escalating local terror.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Wanbao Mining to respond. It did not.
