Tchibo was prepared for implementation of the EUDR legislation, starting January 2025, since the decision to postpone enforcement of the regulation was published only a few days before the original due date.

Tchibo had often positioned itself publicly as a supporter of the objectives of the regulation and at the same time demanding more clarity, additional action by European Legislators, engagement with producing countries and where possible, simplifications. In our opinion, these demands would not have watered down the core of the regulation and its objectives.
