Our Code contains specific provisions which are adhered to and relate to employee’s rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining and dealing with the prevention of any form of harassment…Star…was acquired by Gildan in 2012. At the time, the facility was unionized and had implemented its second collective bargaining agreement…Since the acquisition we have successfully negotiated two renewals of such agreements and are in the negotiation process for another…With respect to Lino Hernandez…he has given us his resignation and has explained the reasons of his decision to the management team. As it is our company’s policy to protect personal information…we cannot provide any details regarding the reasons of his resignation, but can assure you that he left Gildan in good terms.
