RareX Limited (ASX: REE) is an Australian exploration and development company primarily focused on critical minerals like rare earths, phosphate, and gallium. Based in Perth, the company positions itself as a key player in the global clean energy revolution, supplying materials essential for electric vehicles (EVs) and renewable energy technology. Core Projects
- Cummins Range (WA): Its flagship project in the Kimberley region, touted as Australia’s largest undeveloped rare earth project. It contains significant deposits of Neodymium and Praseodymium (NdPr), as well as high-grade phosphate and gallium.
- Mrima Hill (Kenya): RareX is leading a consortium (including Iluka Resources) to develop this critical minerals project. As of January 2026, the company is actively de-risking this asset and has recently appointed East Africa specialist Glen Edwards to spearhead its development.
