Brazil: CPQi comments on labour reform

"CPQi commentary on labor reform", 3 October, 2017
CPQi Servicos e Tecnologia Ltda has been operating in Brazil since 2007.
Recently we were pleased to learn about the new labor reform bill which is one of several measures the company supports to move Brazil's economy forward. We would like to make it clear that, contrary to a single out of context comment reported in a Brazilian newspaper, we not only believe that Brazil employs good market principles but that we have benefitted from this market for ten years. Furthermore we strongly believe that the new labor reform measures introduced by the government under President Temer's leadership will be of great benefit to the country as it continues to emerge from recession.
CPQi is disappointed to see such gutter journalism in particular as the main tenor of the debate was in support of the measures being taken.
