Indian rail company involvement in Jerusalem Light Rail project allegedly violates international law

Texmaco has reportedly signed an agreement with Israeli company Lesico to expand the Green Line of the Jerusalem Light Rail (JLR). The JLR allegedly runs through illegal settlements in or surrounding East Jerusalem. Reports claim that by connecting occupied Palestinian land to Israel, and facilitating the movement of illegal settlers, the JLR may amount to a war crime.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Texmaco to respond to these allegations, but the company did not respond.
