Myanmar: Garment workers report labour rights violations at factory incl. underpaid wages, excessive production targets & denial of leave; incl. co. responses

In December 2022, it was reported that workers at the Nanstock Garment Factory were facing a series of violations, including underpaid wages and overtime, denial of wages if workers take leave due to illness and non-payment of social security pay, the employment of over 80 workers as day labourers, excessive production targets, denial of leave for workplace injuries, and no employment contract for workers.

In January 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited KiK and New Yorker to respond. KiK's response can be found below. New Yorker did not respond.
