Myanmar: Garment workers report verbal abuse & forced overtime at Dong Yu Garment factory; incl. co. response

In January 2022, it was reported that workers at Dong Yu Garment were facing several violations in the factory, including verbal abuse, being forced to work overtime and restrictions to freedom of association, with workers who tried to form a union being dismissed.

In June 2022, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited BESTSELLER to respond. BESTSELLER said the allegations were zero-tolerance issues, and that it had not received any information regarding this case. The full response is included below.
