A lawsuit against a nationwide chain of jewelry stores claims female workers were discriminated against and some were sexually harassed. The lawsuit by current and former employees claims that Sterling Jewelers [part of Signet] practices a pattern of sex discrimination in women worker's promotion and pay. The lawsuit said the company operates under at least 12 retail names including Kay Jewelers, Goodman Jewelers and Osterman Jewelers. Sterling Jewelers said it investigated the claims and found them without merit.
