openDemocracy sues UK govt. over £23m NHS data deal with Palantir

Progressive news organisation openDemocracy announced it had launched a lawsuit against the UK government over their £23m National Health Service (NHS) deal with controversial data firm Palantir. The deal extends an earlier 'emergency' COVID-19 arrangement to a two-year contract, and raises fresh concerns about the control of private health data and trust in the NHS in the middle of a pandemic.
