Court suspends Dalpolimetall mine for 90 days, 8 December 2025

The Dalnegorsk District Court, based on materials submitted by the Far Eastern Directorate of Rostekhnadzor, decided to suspend operations at a mine of JSC Mining and Metallurgical Company Dalpolimetall for a period of 90 days. The decision concerns the operation of six underground mine workings at the 433-meter level of the Class I hazardous industrial facility “Nikolayevsky Mine.”

In November 2025, during inspection activities, the authority identified violations of industrial safety requirements that created a threat of harm to life and a risk of serious injury to citizens. In particular, it was established that underground mining operations, including the development of mine workings and extraction, were carried out without proper support (reinforcement) of the mine workings, according to Rostekhnadzor materials.
