Join us on Wednesday, April 24 at 8 a.m. PDT / 17:00 CEST / Webinar

Tech Against Trafficking continues to advance and scale the work of anti-trafficking organizations with promising technology solutions through its Accelerator Program.

To celebrate the close of our Third Accelerator, we are hosting a Showcase Event. This will be a 90-minute webinar where we will showcase the outputs of the Accelerator and share learnings and tools that can be used across the anti-trafficking field.

The event will include presentations by Accelerator participants Polaris and Issara Institute, who have been working with Tech Against Trafficking to deploy the latest cloud and AI techniques to improve efficiency and identify new trafficking and forced labor patterns, risks, and networks.

The event will also include a panel discussion on the use and impact of generative AI technologies for anti-trafficking efforts.

Please register in advance for the event to receive a calendar hold and Zoom link.

The Organizations

Polaris leads a survivor-centered, justice- and equity-driven movement to end sex and labor trafficking. Polaris is the operator of the U.S. anti-trafficking hotline and also runs Nonechka, an anonymous and confidential mobile communications platform used by migrant agricultural workers in the U.S. and Mexico to document and share insights about their recruitment and working conditions. Through Nonechka, workers receive valuable and timely information about their rights and resources directly on their mobile device.

Issara Institute tackles issues of human trafficking and forced labor through worker voice, partnership, and innovation. Issara Institute runs the Inclusive Labor Monitoring platform, a worker voice-centered tech and multi-stakeholder collaboration platform equipping global brands, retailers, suppliers, recruitment agencies, and government with tools to drive more ethical supply chains and engage with workers and civil society. Issara Institute also operates the Golden Dreams app for jobseekers and migrant workers, providing resources for education and empowerment, safe migration, ethical recruitment, and access to assistance if needed.
