About the Role – Director of Communications and Media Relations
The B Team is seeking a Director of Communications & Media Relations who will play a critical leadership role within The B Team to help catalyse the movement toward a Plan B for Business. We need to amplify our message by engaging with a global audience from young entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 CEOs, introducing and scaling our initiatives to international media, and helping to redefine the traditional narrative of business – to help end ‘business as usual’.
He or she will be accountable for defining and driving a multi-channel communications strategy for The B Team; managing public relations and media activities and leading the development of compelling messaging and content to ensure consistency and help develop our approach to inspiring and catalysing a movement to achieve Plan B.
He/she will report to the Managing Director of The B Team, working closely with the Executive Chairman, Senior Partners and B Team Leaders to ensure impactful and strategic deployment of communications.
This role will work also closely with, and help lead the efforts of, The B Team’s Director of Production & Storytelling to translate The B Team’s voice and messaging throughout all communications and collateral; including assets such as videos, reports, events, publications, blogs, digital and social platforms, and promotional and fundraising materials.
