Abu Dhabi Rejects Human Rights Probe On Guggenheim Island Proj

Abu Dhabi rejected...a report by...Human Rights Watch that criticizes labor conditions at a $22 billion island project that will be home to the Guggenheim and a campus for New York University in the Persian Gulf emirate. Migrant workers building the Saadiyat Island project, or the "Island of Happiness", are underpaid and exploited, said...HRW...the Abu Dhabi government authority developing the project said the report "makes misleading assertions and false assumptions due to HRW's questionable methodology and flawed research."
