Auchan response

Please find here after our responses :

1/ The situation in Russia has been monitored by an ad hoc committee since day one of the conflict. This has enabled us to swiftly adapt our decisions to the changing situation on the ground. In line with the terms of the European Union embargo, the Russian entity is autonomous. It no longer receives any investment or subsidies from its parent company.
Auchan Retail’s mission remains to provide the population with the best food at the fairest price. This was reaffirmed by the employees of Auchan Retail Russia under the current circumstances.

2/ Auchan Retail Russia has no direct link with the armed conflict and its progress. Auchan Retail Russia refuses, by choice, to play a part in the deterioration of the situation.
Under Russian law, any employee who is mobilised has their employment contract suspended and is therefore no longer managed or paid by their employer from that time. Auchan Retail Russia therefore no longer has any ties with the very few people mobilised to date.
