Chile: Environmental Tribunal confirms final and complete closure of Barrick Gold's bi-national Pascua Lama gold mining project in the border glaciers

The final ruling of a Chilean Environmental Court after years of suspension of the project due to negative impacts on Argentinean and Chilean glaciers, was to close definitely this project. Barrick Gold issued an statement accepting the decision but reporting that will continue to search for alternatives in the two countries.
