Clarks' Response

Clarks’ Response, 26 April 2021

The Clarks Code of Practice sets the working condition standards we expect from all our suppliers which under Freedom of Association includes the right for workers to form and join trade unions and bargain collectively.

There are three unions registered at the Tripos factory, which combined represent around 85% of the workforce.

Through our investigation we have been unable to corroborate the claims of management threats against workers in respect to their membership of CATU.

We understand that CATU has filed a complaint with the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Department of Labour and we will await the outcome of this process before commenting further
