Complaint against Qatar, 331st Governing Body Session (November 2017)

At its 331st Session of November 2017, recalling the decisions adopted at its 329th Session (March 2017), and commending (i) the measures taken by the Government to effectively implement Law No. 21 of 2015 relating to the entry, exit and residence of migrant workers and to follow up on the high-level visit assessment, (ii) the official transmission of Law No. 15 of 22 August 2017 on Domestic Workers and of the Law establishing Workers’ Dispute Resolution Committees of 16 August 2017, (iii) the information provided on the technical cooperation programme between the Government of Qatar and the ILO (2018–20), the Governing Body may wish to: (a) support the agreed technical cooperation programme and its implementation modalities between the Government of Qatar and the ILO; and (b) decide to close the complaint procedure under article 26.
