We would acknowledge the receipt of your email and sorry for our belated reply.

With regard to the newbuilding of MPSV (Multi Purpose Support Vessel), we would like to inform you that

(1) this vessel was delivered to POSCO DAEWOO Corporation in October 2019 by Dae Sun (as the local supplier and builder) and POSCO exported this MPSV to Myanmar,

(2) this newbuilding contract of MPSV was signed between Myanmar and POSCO in February 2018.

Also we have received the same agenda from National Contact Point (NCP) of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterpriese and which is in progress.

NCP said the Committee shall be treated within one year, according to the precedural guidance of OECD and will make an initial assessment of whether this issue raised merit further examination and respond to the parties involved, including our company - Dae Sun. This initial assessment will be completed within first half of this year.

They confirmed that this initial assessment can be available for circulation to other third parties. So we will release them to you in due course.
