Eighteen killed in China mine blast

An explosion triggered by a gas build-up tore through a coal mine in China's eastern Jiangxi province at the weekend, killing 18 miners in the latest in a series of deadly accidents...The coal mine explosion was the second disaster to strike Jiangxi province on Sunday, following a string of blasts at a fireworks factory in the morning that killed nine and injured 60.
