EU cos. continue to export materials to Russian army boots manufacturers, new investigation shows; incl. cos. non-responses

A new investigation by Trap Aggressor shows that companies making boots for the Russian army imported $4.1 million worth of materials from Italian and German companies in 2023.

The report mentions 5 EU companies. One company, Salamander Group, released a statement in May 2023, saying it had decided to immediately stop deliveries to Russia and Belarus.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited the other 4 companies mentioned in the report to respond. Jakob KECK Chemie GmbH, Conceria Cervinia, Neuhaus Gmbh and Belintertrans Germany did not respond.
