On 5 May 2025, demonstrators from environmental group Elokapina and pro-Palestinian organisation Students for Palestine Finland gathered outside Mærsk Finland's Helsinki offices, condemning the logistics firm for allegedly aiding Israel's Gaza operations by shipping US military supplies like vehicle parts, aircraft components, and ammunition systems to the Israeli forces, thereby contributing to civilian harm and environmental damage. Police stepped in amid the protest, detaining three participants.

The Business and Human Rights Centre invited Mærsk to respond; it did not.
