FIFA responds to report of former stadium guard detained & deported for labour advocacy

FIFA has taken note of the allegations published by the Middle East Eye about the detention and deportation of a safety inspector who was at an earlier stage deployed at the Lusail Stadium site in Qatar. We are in contact with our counterparts in Doha and other relevant stakeholders to better understand the allegations and the extent to which these may be linked to FIFA's operations.
