Glencore's response

Glencore acknowledges the severity of the incidents and the tragic impact it has had on members of our communities.

We have been transparent about the illegal ASM incursion and third party acid truck incidents and included significant disclosure of these events in our Annual and Sustainability Reports. This disclosure references the reviews that have taken place for both events and the measures put in place to avoid a repeat of these incidents. Further details on these incidents will be disclosed in our Human Rights report which will be published shortly.

We are planning to review the classification of human rights incidents which is currently based on the company’s level of control of an activity.
