Global Development Policy Centre releases new studies on the potential impacts of China's Belt and Road Initiative

"New GDP Center Research on China’s Belt & Road Initiative", 25 April 2019

... China hosts the second Belt and Road Forum in Beijing where world leaders convene to discuss further cooperation on China’s ambitious Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). While the BRI provides critical resources to bridge development gaps across the world, realizing the full benefits of these resources will require significant engagement with a broader mix of stakeholders, and a calibration to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

New studies and an interactive dataset from the GDP Center’s Global China Initiative (GCI), released today, aim to contribute to a broader understanding of the BRI and its potential impacts.
