Goldcorp response re San Martin mine

We are proud of our record of responsibility and service at San Martin. Its presence in this region has had undeniable benefits to the local populace…The presence of the mine has had no effect on the quantity or quality of the water in the area of the San Martin mine. In fact, the mine has routinely assisted in providing water to the communities during the regular annual dry season. Even in closure, the mine has served as a great example of responsible reclamation, and the efforts of the San Martin Foundation have focused on creating new commercial and entrepreneurial opportunities for the families of the surrounding community.
