While 37.5% of respondents within the IT and communications sector are familiar with the UN Guiding Principles, the responses indicate a clear gap in awareness and familiarity compared to other sectors represented in the survey. It is in particular strong contrast to the food and beverage sector (80%) which across all sectors indicates the highest awareness about the UN Guiding Principles, followed by the manufacturing (75%), and infrastructure and utilities (71.4%) sector.
