Days after ex-Union Carbide Corporation chairman Warren Anderson’s death news came out, the survivors of 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy have decided to stage sit in at Jantar Mantar New Delhi...Five female gas survivors would embark on water–less indefinite hunger stir from November 10...Talking to newspersons in Bhopal on Monday, five organizations representing gas survivors claimed that there is no scientific or legal basis for denying additional compensation to 93% of victims...Our protest at Jantar Mantar is for additional compensation of Rs one lakh each to all the gas tragedy victims," they added.
