India: Leopard attacks tea worker in Assam

In March 2023, it was reported that a tea worker was attacked by a leopard while collecting firewood on the Furkating tea estate. The Business and Human Rights Resource Centre asked Unilever, a buyer from the estate according to its publicly disclosed supplier list, and Lipton (ekaterra), which took over most of Unilever's tea business in 2022 for comment. Both companies responded. Lipton stated that it does not source from Furkating. Full responses included below.
