According to the Department of Ecology of East Kazakhstan region, an employee of the Ust-Kamenogorsk metallurgical complex of Kazzinc LLP received injuries incompatible with life during scheduled drilling and blasting operations to clean the shaft furnace of the smelting shop...

“There was no damage to production premises, equipment or disruptions to the technological process. Since 17 September 2022, the work of the main workshops of the lead plant has been suspended. Since September 19, the Isasmelt Pt furnace has also been stopped,” the department informed.
