Korindo Group's response to SLAPPed but not silenced report

In the lawsuit before the Regional Court of Hamburg against Rainforest Rescue (Rettet den Regenwald e.V.), a nonprofit organization based in Hamburg, Germany, and the Center for International Policy, Inc., the fiscal sponsor of the campaign organisation Mighty Earth, Kenertec is defending itself against false allegations made in public and to customers and potential customers, which the NGOs refused to retract voluntarily.

The core of the dispute is the allegation of intentional and illegal burning of Indonesian rainforests. To date, no evidence for the accuracy of these allegations has been presented, neither in the course of repeat investigations of Korindo Group’s alleged misconduct in its oil palm plantations conducted by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and initiated by the campaign organization Mighty Earth, nor in the proceedings before the Regional Court of Hamburg..."
