Myanmar: Garment workers at Takashima Sports factory report multiple labour rights abuses; incl. co. response

In November 2023, it was reported that workers at Takashima Sports faced a series of violations, including wage cuts incl. the non-payment of the ticket fee where workers get paid per item they complete, wage cuts if workers don't follow arbitrary rules the factory created, wage cuts if workers take leave even for sickness and non-payment of medical leave, mandatory overtime, and the Workplace Coordination Committee working according to the employers' wishes.

In January 2024, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Montbell and Arc'teryx to respond. Montbell responded. Arc'teryx did not. Montbell's response can be found below.
