Myanmar: Garment workers at Topline Global allege facing multiple labour rights violations incl. wage theft & verbal abuse incl. co. non-responses

In November 2022, it was reported that workers at Topline Global were facing a series of violations, including half the workforce being hired as day labourers, no medical facilities for workers and limited access to drinking water, non-payment of wages, excessive production targets and workers forced to skip meals to meet the targets, verbal abuse and denial of legally owed benefits.

In January 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited New Yorker and Creaciones Selene to respond. They did not.

Timeline
