Myanmar: Workers at Huiyuan Garment factory report labour rights violations incl. unlawful dismissals, wage deductions & child labour; incl. co . response

In May 2022, it was reported that workers were facing a number of violations at the factory, including unlawful dismissals, wage deductions, forced and unpaid overtime, denial of social security benefits and abusive treatment. It was also alleged that the factory was hiring underage workers.

In June 2022, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP S.A. to respond. The full response is included below.
