[PDF] "Business’ human rights responsibilities in conflict zones: Standards, tools and perspectives" Hosted by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre [Geneva, 31 May 2010]

This side event brings together a broad range of panelists to discuss human rights challenges, and peace-building opportunities, that face business in conflict and post-conflict zones. The event will draw attention to standards, tools, cases and initiatives, such as the work on a project on business and human rights in conflict-affected areas, convened by the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative on Business and Human Rights, Professor John Ruggie, and a new online portal on “Business, Conflict & Peace”, being launched at the event by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre.
