In follow up to the recently announced next steps for the European Commission project to develop sector-specific guidance on the Corporate Responsibility to Respect Human Rights, this note explains the criteria for selecting the three business sectors that will be the focus of the project and provides information on how interested stakeholders may submit their views on the selection process...The selection criteria...are designed to elicit stakeholder recommendations on the business sectors for which detailed guidance on the corporate responsibility to respect human rights is most needed and can add greatest value...All suggestions for business sectors to be included in the project should be submitted to [email protected] by 6pm CET on 27 January 2012
