[PDF] G4S Operations in Israel & the West Bank - June 2014

We welcome the UK National Contact Point’s (NCP) acknowledgement that there is no evidence that any G4S equipment or services cause or contribute to adverse human rights impacts. We also welcome the UK NCP’s clear acknowledgement that the company carries out extensive due diligence and on-going review of the potential human rights risks of its business. We take very seriously our obligations to ensure that our activities do not contribute to human rights abuses. We have provided evidence which clearly demonstrates that the company is acting appropriately in the context of international laws and voluntary human rights guidelines including those set out by the OECD. The UK NCP has stressed that acceptance of issues for further examination in this process does not mean that the NCP considers that the company has acted inconsistently with the OECD Guidelines. We will continue to support the NCP review process.
