Response by Sartex CJSC

...In response to your e-mail dated 07/10/2022, we inform you that the information published in the article “Overtime work without pay and bad treatment: ‘Sartex’ employees are on strike”. https://hetq.am/hy/article/149041?fbclid=IwAR1MqSx5YVXPnOHdeqfCJM8Y7E2h2gyz44Ye1WdBUsoI261GLXKo4nroTKk does not correspond to reality.

In particular, although the article mentions that “according to the labor contract, the monthly salary of tailors is 160,000 AMD, but in reality they receive 100,000 AMD”, yet according to the labor contract, tailors work not with a fixed salary, but on contract basis. Depending on the quantity of production and the qualification of the employee, the average monthly salary of a tailor in the Company is 110-160 thousand AMD.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the solution of social problems of employees is important for us, therefore in accordance with the decision of its founders, the Company voluntarily covers the transportation costs of the employees, as well as provides free meals to the employees. If the Company wanted to exploit the employees, it would not have voluntarily taken such responsibility and would not have incurred such expenses...
