River Island's response re. Stylecraft Ltd

River Island has a long-standing relationship with Stylecraft through one of our key suppliers. We have been made aware of the financial issues and delayed wages at Stylecraft and it has been of great concern to us and is something that we take very seriously. It is a clear breach of our code of practice and the factory have assured us that the situation is being resolved with November 2020 salaries having all been paid, December 2020 wages due to be paid by 27th January 2021 and the outstanding wages to be paid across the months January to April 2021 as an agreement has been made with the local labour department to ensure this pending amount is paid. We will continue to monitor the situation, and plan to visit the factory in March to ensure these issues are fully resolved.
