On 23 January 2026, Nueva Vizcaya police enforced a court order arresting seven anti-mining protesters, including Florentino Daynos II and Indigenous women Krislyn Pocday, Adela Modi, Analiza Baliao, Amelia Rabino, Janet Macario, and Sonnette Nginsayan, after dismantling a human barricade in Barangay Keon, Dupax del Norte in the Philippines. The operation implemented a court order from 19 January 2026, allowing Woggle Corporation access to its mines, which protesters had blocked in resistance against environmental devastation on their lands.

Woggle Corporation is a subsidiary of Metals Exploration. We invited Metals Exploration to respond; it did not.
