...Not a year has passed since the structures of the Norilsk enrichment plant (NOF) collapsed in the city. Three workers died under its rubble, five were seriously injured. On these same days, the largest mines, Oktyabrsky and Taimyrsky, were flooded. The pumps stopped, unable to cope with the water inflow. All of these plant facilities are the property of Norilsk Nickel and its subsidiaries. Production workers do not want to communicate with the press, citing the fact that they were prohibited from doing so. The names of the dead are not disclosed. Those who were on shift at the time of the tragedy are being taken to the Investigative Committee for questioning.
