S Alam Group's response

We are expressing our Mourn for the persons dead in the incident, which happened about 5 kilometers away from the proposed power plant project site. The...sub-contractors people who were working at site have not got any involvement in the incident...We have bought about 655 acres of land for development of the power plants where about 200 families were living. We have paid them money for the land more than the market value. Also we are taking adequate rehabilitation measures including building house for them, which are better than their previous ones and alternate source of earnings....All the sellers and the people living in the proposed power plant area are happy and have no complaint.  For your information none of them were involved in above-mentioned incident.
