Sarawak Energy response

Sarawak said that they "do not intend to respond directly to the content, but instead we would like to share the good news, the progress of the resettled communities in our hydro project, Murum. Murum HEP which has just commenced commercial operations is Sarawak Energy's second hydro project after Batang Ai HEP (which was completed in 1985). We are happy to share the story of the Penan community after a year of resettlement to their new homes. The attached article ["Embracing Change: A Murum Penan Story"] tells the story of the community, their experience, hope and aspirations.
