…[The] president of Repsol, said it would challenge…“an illegal and unjustifiable act” in international courts, asserting that the government of President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner had deliberately threatened Repsol over recent months to depress its stock price ahead of an expropriation…[and] that other companies had shown interest in YPF…Under Mrs. Kirchner’s plan…the Argentine government would take a 51 percent controlling stake in YPF...The Spanish foreign minister summoned the Argentine ambassador on Tuesday for further talks ahead of retaliatory measures...
