See all tags

The BWI’s complaint against FIFA under the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises for failing to address human rights violations of migrant construction workers in Qatar has been been accepted by the Swiss National Contact Point. A BWI delegation attended the Swiss National Contact Point’s offices in Berne to hand in the complaint in May 2015.

Following its acceptance of the case, the Swiss National Contact Point will now offer its good offices to FIFA and BWI for the purpose of reaching a mutually acceptable agreement.
