UK: Missguided suppliers allegedly denied millions in payments as the company 'collapses' into administration

In May 2022, it was reported that Missguided had fallen into administration, after it was revealed the company owed millions to their suppliers in payments.

Factory owners alleged they were at risk of bankruptcy, as the company had stopped paying them for months, and that they had already been affected by 30% discounts on orders in December. Suppliers also reported the company had ignored their phone calls and emails, calling for their owed payments.

Some suppliers are considering legal action against Missguided, as the company continued to place orders while 'administration was on the horizon'. An official complaint was filed to the Insolvency Service.
