On 15 December 2025, approximately 75 Starbucks workers gathered at the Starbucks Roasting Plant in Minden, Nevada, blocking the main truck entrance as part of the national "Red Cup Rebellion" strike demanding fair contracts, better pay, and resolution of unfair labour practices. Douglas County Sheriff's deputies issued repeated dispersal orders at Starbucks' request; 32 individuals who refused to leave private property received trespassing citations in lieu of arrest, with the rest relocating to public areas, allowing delivery trucks to be turned away earlier as union organizers intended.
