UTair Aviation informs that operations under contracts in support of the United Nations missions are currently being performed by UTair to the full extent without any limitations. It is true that in May 2011, actions of an employee of one of UTair Group companies engaged in support of the UN Mission in Congo were classified by the UN as “sexual abuse”. UTair is fully sharing the “zero tolerance policy” regarding such actions, as declared by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. Therefore it actively participated in investigation of this case by the special UN committee and took the required disciplinary measures towards its employee...UTair, in collaboration with the UN, has arranged continuous monitoring of efficiency of policies, measures and procedures implemented for the purpose of preventing the company personnel from becoming involved into sexual exploitation and abuse.
